We got married!

My sweet and I were married the weekend before last! It was the most amazing day. Everything went smoothly and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. So many hours had gone into all the decorations and planning etc and we were over the moon with how it all turned out! It was truly perfect.

Guests took home locally made jam at the end of the night.

Baby shower

My sister and I made this cake for our friends baby shower! It was the first time I'd worked with fondant icing and it was a lot of fun.
The cake was tasty and well received so smiles all round!

Home day

My little doggy and I had a run in with a big German shepherd this morning. A truly traumatic experience. I've never screamed so loud or felt so helpless. Luckily a passer by came to our rescue. After a day at the vet and a few stitches for myself, we are now resting up on the couch.

I got a new striped skirt today (well actually, I got two!) and I am in love.

I do not like summer.
But I do like homemade lemon cordial! And that feels very summery.
So I'm pretending it's already autumn and I'm making a scarf!
